This meeting involved cybersecurity officials from different industrial organizations and sectors, public authorities and specialists in cybersecurity with the aim of sharing some of their own experiences with the attendees.
The meeting was divided into five thematic areas:
We started with an area on Normative, with a debate panel entitled “Good governance and regulatory compliance in industrial cybersecurity” that had industrial cybersecurity managers, and competent authorities that will discuss the imminent security law of networks and systems. information.
The following thematic area was Cybersecurity from the design where two organizations specialized in cybersecurity services, iHacksLabs and Innotec System exposed the need to incorporate cybersecurity throughout the development cycle of industrial products, as well as the importance of applying new paradigms in the Risk management adapted to the industrial environment to achieve systems with “cybersecurity by design”.
The halfway point of this meeting was centered on the theme of Protection Technologies. The cybersecurity from the design will not be able to reduce all the vulnerabilities of the industrial systems, nor will it provide all the necessary functionalities, for that reason it is essential the incorporation of protection technologies adapted to the environment, in this case we had two manufacturers specialized in technologies of protection, such as Kaspersky and Trend Micro that presented their experience when it comes to protecting the industrial environment.
Next, the issue of Implantation was addressed, as industrial integrators must address the architecture and configuration of networks and systems that automate industrial processes. In this thematic area we had the presence of a cybersecurity service provider, and a debate panel “Experiences with cybersecurity technologies” where cybersecurity managers and providers such as Teléfonica, Cisco and Check Point shared their experiences in the implementation of technology cybersecurity
The meeting finished with an area on technological resilience and continuity. Focused on how industrial organizations should act when they suffer cybersecurity incidents, but above all on how to prepare to reduce their impact. Within this thematic area we had the presence of OYLO and Grupo CMC. Closing this area and the meeting with the debate panel for “Sharing experiences on technological resilience”.
