CCI held its fourth edition of the workshop in Madrid based on a case study to implement an Industrial Cybersecurity Management system. The guidance for the construction of an SGCI was applied in a practical way, in which specific guidelines of the ISO27001 and IEC62443 standards were contemplated, for an effective and continuous treatment of the risks regarding the availability, integrity and confidentiality of the operations and of information managed by industrial systems.
The workshop is structured to apply a management system according to the following domains:
This workshop is primarily aimed at those responsible for managing cybersecurity risks in industrial organizations, as well as consultants and auditors of management systems based on ISO 27001 and IEC 62443 standards.
Likewise, and in order to favor the practical application of the aforementioned guidelines, the workshop will take into account the following premises:
Independence and integration. It will allow autonomy from the point of view of its implementation. In this way, its implementation will be facilitated when the maturity in industrial cybersecurity of the organization is insufficient; but it will also allow the integration of the different management systems that are present.
Agility and operability. Operability will prevail, promoting the adoption of measures that cover basic cyber protection requirements on automation and industrial control systems; requirements that may be extended, later.
