The objective of this workshop was to provide professionals of industrial organizations, engineering, IT and OT integrators with the fundamental knowledge to apply cybersecurity in the design of industrial automation, analyzing the risks and impact on the business.
The most effective way of protecting the digital technologies used in the operation of an industrial plant is to do so at the earliest stages of its life cycle – design, provision and installation / commissioning – by incorporating, in each one of them, The appropriate measures and mechanisms of cybersecurity, along with the other requirements of functionality, quality and security linked to operations.
This workshop has reviewed the best practices and techniques for applying protection in industrial control systems (ICS), used in them and covering the five stages of the life cycle of an industrial automation project .
