C04. OT Cybersecurity course applied to the Transport Sector
Analyze the key aspects of cybersecurity and the associated requirements in digitalization projects within OT environments in the transportation sector.
What will you achieve with this course?
The transportation sector is essential for the proper functioning of modern society.
With this course, students will discover and analyze the methodologies necessary for diagnosing, applying, and improving cybersecurity maturity in the transportation sector, where cybersecurity attacks are numerous and frequent. This training provides a comprehensive overview of the state-of-the-art in industrial cybersecurity and applicable technologies, with a focus on the transportation sector.
A specific approach covers various aspects of cybersecurity in the sector: an extensive introduction to transportation automation and control and their cybersecurity risks, and an analysis of cybersecurity in the lifecycle of an automation project in transportation, including its application in different phases, conducting a diagnosis, and risk assessment. All this aims to help minimize the impact of potential cyberattacks, which in many cases can have disastrous and even irreversible consequences.
Learning from this training
- Contextualisation of industrial cybersecurity in the transport sector.
- Concepts of cybersecurity in transport sector operation technologies.
- Practical use case of OT cybersecurity diagnosis.
- Cybersecurity in the lifecycle of an industrial automation project, focusing on the first stages (priority to design and the taking of requirements under standards).
- Cybersecurity management in an industrial automation environment.
- Cybersecurity maturity assessment in a transport sector environment under a practical use case.
Who is it for?
This course is aimed at professionals in industrial automation and control, instrumentation and control, and IT and information security professionals in the transportation sector.
*To get the most benefit from the course, it is recommended that students have basic knowledge of industrial cybersecurity.
