Comparison of requirements by credential

Description of requirements
- Be a member of the CCI ecosystem. There are several categories of CCI membership (membership information). CCI Members are the employees of CCI Member, Active Member or Sponsors organizations, and Professional Members. There is also the Basic Member (individual), whose registration is free through this formulary.
- Access to the documentation of the Center and active participation in the CCI ecosystem. This criterion is accredited if the participant is a Basic Member and belongs to an Active Member organization or sponsor of CCI (see CCI memberships). Or, you are a CCI Professional Member.
- Attendance at events on the subject. The information related to the event (url of the agenda), and email of the organization organizing the event must be provided.
- Training in industrial cybersecurity. The training hours will be counted according to the relationship set out in this link. Regarding the training offer not included in this list, prior consultation should be sent to info@cci-es.org where you will be informed of the possible recognition, and the number of hours that apply. The information related to the training (url of the training program), and the information email of the organization organizing the training must be provided.
- The research work on industrial cybersecurity will be carried out by prior agreement with the CCI management team. For this, the applicant will write to info@cci-es.org requesting thematic (the applicant himself can send his proposals). On the agreed theme, the applicant must write an article of about 1,200 words (equivalent to 2 pages). Those articles that the CCI management team considers, due to their quality, topicality, etc., will be published and disseminated through the CCI channels (web, blog, social networks, events, etc.), always respecting the author’s mention from the article.
- Experience in projects / publications / teaching in industrial cybersecurity. A brief description of the project / publication / teaching must be provided, as well as the contact email of the person in charge who can confirm said dedication.
- Pass online test. Each category and level will have a short online test associated with it that the applicant must pass.
Other considerations
- These Conditions of Participation contemplate the criteria that have been identified as ‘standard’. However, CCI encourages participants to present their particular cases, or not previously collected in this document, and which may be considered as equivalent to a specific criterion. For example, training not previously identified, experience different from that stipulated by these bases, but equally valid. In these cases, the CCI management team will assess the information provided, promptly informing the interested party of the result of their evaluation.
- Membership in the program will be temporary (biannual), and may be extended (upon request of the interested party) for periods of equal duration, depending on the continuity of compliance with the criteria established for the category and level assigned. Each level change will lead to the beginning of a new two-year term.
- Participation in the training sessions of the CCI Industrial Cybersecurity Professional School generates the right to hold the Credential specified for each type of training (see programs of the CCI Industrial Cybersecurity Professional School)
- The participant with a student category credential, upon reaching 26 years of age (the maximum age in the student category is 25 years old), may automatically request their adherence to the professional category, under the following conditions:
- The white level student may directly opt for the white level professional.
- The green level student will be able to opt for the green level professional and the black level student will be able to opt for the black level professional. For this, the student must also demonstrate access to the documentation of the Center and active participation in the CCI ecosystem (see requirements)
- In case of category migration (student to professional), the validity period of the credential remains intact (a new period does not begin).
