Aarón Flecha Menéndez holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Oviedo (UNIOVI), a university expert in industrial cybersecurity (UNIR) and a master’s degree in Security of Information and Communication Technologies (UOC).

He is currently developing his professional career at s21sec Cyber Solutions by Thales as technical leader of the industrial security area. A large part of his technical work is focused on research with more than 100 reported vulnerabilities related to the industrial world.

He has taken several courses and certifications related to industrial security, including Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP), GIAC Response Industrial Defense (GRID) and ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Fundamentals Specialist. In addition, he holds certifications related to Red Team such as Certified Red Team Professional (CRTP). He has been a speaker at various national and international events including the International Congress on Industrial Cybersecurity (CCI), STIC CCN-CERT Conferences, Cybercamp, ViCON, AsturCON and others.
