Ana Ayerbe is director of the CORES Area within the DIGITAL Unit at TECNALIA, where applied research is carried out in the fields of Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence and Visual technologies, HPA and Software Technologies.
Ana has a degree in Computer Science from the University of Deusto, a Master's degree in Robotics and Automation from the Bilbao School of Engineering and Telecommunications, Expert in Business and Technology Management from the University of Deusto and is currently completing a degree in Psychology from the UNED.
She regularly collaborates with national and international organizations in matters of Cybersecurity, being a member of the Board of Directors of ECSO (European Organization for Cybersecurity) and of its working group WG6 SRIA, of RENIC (Spanish Network of Centers of Excellence in Cybersecurity), Council of the WOMEN4CYBER and Board of Directors of the Spanish chapter of WOMEN4CYBER where she leads the R&D workstream.
She was a member of the "Advisory Group on Secure Societies" in H2020, also participating in the committee of experts for the preparation of the National Cybersecurity Strategy 2019. On the other hand, she participates as an evaluator for both the European Commission and at the national level. Finally, Ana has been a mentor of the INSPIRA STEAM initiative.
