Hector Puyosa has more than 25 years of industrial experience on services, oil & gas and plastics industries, with a progressive experience from engineering to leadership roles. He currently works as Technical Department Senior Manager at a world class plastics industrial complex in Spain and is partial-time professors at Universidad Politecnica de Cartagena (Spain). He hold a B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering from Simon Bolivar University (Caracas, Venezuela). He received a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Murcia (Murcia, Spain) with honors. His major areas of industrial expertise are: Stable Operations and Plant Reliability, Work-Process Improvement. Capital expenditure and Project Engineering and Process Control and Manufacturing Systems. He received a PhD Engineering Thesis Award 1999-2000 from the University of Murcia, and was named Telecommunication Engineer of Year 2012 by AiteRM. Currently he is providing technical and leadership guidance on cybersecurity as a volunteer serving ISA-62443 technical working group and IEEE eGovernment STC BoG.. He is a senior member of ISA and IEEE, board member of IEEE Spain Section in charge of EAB -Pre-University activities and member of IEEE TMC Spain Board.
