Paulo Coelho is a Senior Engineer at Ordem dos Engenheiros (Portugal), has a degree in Electrical Engineering - Automation and Industrial Electronics, by ISEL, Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa, and has more than 28 years of professional experience.

He started his career in June 1995, as a trainee, and from October 1995 to 2000, worked at ISEL as Electrical Machines Laboratory Supervisor and as Teaching Assistant in Computer Programming and Electrical Machines II.

From 2000 to 2007, worked at Sotécnica as a Project Manager in the implementation of Industrial Automation and Control Systems, SCADA Systems, and Building Management Systems, namely at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, in Oporto, where consolidated their technical skills, and developed skills in project and team management.

From 2007 to August 2023, he worked at Aquasis as a Technical Advisor in the implementation of Remote SCADA Systems, Industrial Control Systems, and multiservice communications networks of several Utilities in the Water Sector in Portugal, and since 2013, he was Responsible for the Automation, Communications and Energy Area, dedicated to Technical Design, Project Development and Technical Advice of these ICS Systems, having also specialized in the Cybersecurity of these Operational Systems.

In August 2023, he joined S21sec as ICS Senior Consultant.
